The Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers celebrates the UK's outstanding apprenticeship employers – recognising their commitment to creating new apprenticeships, the diversity of their apprentices, and the number of apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeships.

The prestigious annual rankings are entirely data-driven and apprenticeship employers across the UK are invited to enter each year. The entry process has been designed to be simple and straightforward for employers to complete - and all entrants receive full feedback on their entry.

The new 2025 rankings were launched in a specially-produced TV programme on Thursday 10th July, filmed on-location at BAE Systems' Academy for Skills & Knowledge in Samlesbury, Lancashire.

In-depth coverage of the rankings appeared in The Sunday Times during the weekend of Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July, showcasing the UK's top apprenticeship employers to the widest-possible audience of employers, school & college leavers, careers advisers and parents.

Coverage included a full-page feature on the new rankings in the Business section of the newspaper, a specially-commissioned article explaining the latest changes to the apprenticeships system by Robert Halfon, former Minister for Skills & Apprenticeships, and interviews on Times Radio.

The annual rankings are researched and compiled by High Fliers Research, who independently assess and rank the country's top apprenticeship employers on behalf of The Sunday Times.
